Mini gifts

-Sometimes, all you have to do is make a small investment to get a big return.-

If you know me, you know I love samples. They’re free, they’re handy when traveling, they let me test something new without having to invest immediately,.. And sometimes, they just bring an upgrade to the table.

So when I bought one of my favourite magazines a few days ago, I was delighted to find an invite to a local beauty shop for a sample of Dior’s new Rouge Line. Little did I know I’d get 4 samples, AND it’d come in cute packaging, which makes it a perfect mini-gift for the beauty-lovers in my circle.

I think mini-gifts are SO underrated. People sometimes seem to think a good gift should cost you several bucks, or always have to have great thought behind it. But this isn’t necessarily the case. It’s the little things that show you care.
Mini-gifts are great for advent calendars, for when you have a rule of ‘no spending’, for when you want to give something extra along with your gift certificate (take it to the next level in stead of ‘simply’ an envelope), or when your person just needs a little pick-me-up.
-Or when you just want to give something extra because they (and you!) are so amazing.- 

Other examples shown in the picture above are a scented tealight, candy, a dried flower, a small box of tea,… Just think of anything you get for free or very little money, and that could fit in your back pocket.
